Dr. Sheehy graduated from Georgetown University Dental School in 1980 and opened his dental office in San Mateo in August of that year. His commitment to dentistry is life long and passionate.

He loves the work and the people. Dr. Sheehy attends continuing education in the fields of TMJ pain relief treatment, cosmetic dentistry, crowns, bridges, dentures and partial dentures, implants, endodontics (root canal), periodontics (gums) safety and sterilization, and all phases of general dentistry. Dr. Sheehy is 69 years old and lives with his wife Mildred. He is a fourth generation San Franciscan. He went to San Francisco State for Chemistry and Bio Chemistry degrees.

Son, Joey, is 38 years old, is a legislative aid for a congresswoman from Los Angeles. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have 2 children. They live and work in Washington DC. Son, Jack, is 36 years old and teaches math in San Francisco.
